80, of Smithfield, passed peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Constance (Heon). He was born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond and Irene (Miller) Sullivan. He was the brother of the late Shirley (Sullivan) Millar and the brother-in-law of Rev. Charles Heon, OMI.

Raymond served in the United States Navy and retired as a Lieutenant from the Central Falls Police Department. In 1967, he earned the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the American Legion Law and Order Medal of Valor, and numerous commendations for interrupting an armed robbery while off-duty. He was a member of the Smithfield Elks, Lodge 2359.

Loving father of Kevin (Patricia) of Warren, Steven (Brenda) of Burrillville, Keith (Tina) of Smithfield, Scott (Ashly) of Central Falls, and Kristin of Cumberland. Proud Papa of Patrick, Haley, Katie, Emma, Riley and Benjamin. Donut feeder to his grandpups, Harper and Shea. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30am from Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory can be sent to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
